The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is by far the largest Mormon denomination, with millions of members. It is known for strong community orientation, emphasis on family values, massive genealogical databases, and missionary work that spans the globe. Members attend weekly meetings in chapels, occasionally visit temples for important rituals, and gather twice a year for general conference. On issues of science and technology, the Church tends toward cautious open approaches without endorsing specific positions.
